Martian Child

I actually watched this movie a couple weeks ago and meant to blog about it but never did, so here's what I thought about the movie, a little late. Martian Child was a great movie, I absolutely loved the little boy who played the well... little boy ( his name is Bobby Coleman) he was an absolute wonderful little actor for his age and he is so cute! The movie was all sorts of things, funny, sad, touching, & frustrating (but only a little bit of frustrating). Martian Child was a very memorable movie, because the scenes really had me interested. I wasn't bored at all watching it, which I find I sometimes am watching other movies. I thought John Cusack was also a very good actor in the movie.

Although it is rated PG I don't think it is necessarily a family movie, partially because I don't think little kids would get the plot line, and would lose interest. I personally loved this movie, and if you haven't seen it already I would highly recommend it:) It definetly made an impact on how I think, which other movies don't usually do:).

21...

Tonight my mom took us girls out for dinner and a movie. We went and saw 21. I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND it for younger kids, because of some swearing, and well nudity:/, oh yeah! And it's rated PG 13. It was a very funny movie, and also a very thrilling one to:). It's one of those movies that will have you at the edge of your seat one minute and back laughing in it the next. Which of course I didn't mind at all:) I love funny movies.

It did get to seem a little long and boring at some parts, but it always managed to grab my attention on way or another. And of course it is a pretty long movie, about 2 hours and 3 minutes (so I was told). And since it was opening night for the movie the theater was PACKED, and I mean every sing row was filled with people. There was probably about maybe 5 to 10 empty seats in the whole HUGE theater! 21 wasn't one of those where I'm dying to go see it again in theaters and any other chance I have, but it was definetly very well done.

Becoming Jane...

I (unlike Hannah) thought Becoming Jane was a wonderful movie. I thought it was wonderfully written, and the music and scenery was beautiful. Although it was very funny, it did have its moments where I did become upset about how things where going (you know those moments when you talk to the actors in the movie?). I think Ann Hathaway and James whatever his last name is, and of course all of the other actors, did a wonderful job at communicating and made their emotions very believable.

I was a little upset about the ending, but I suppose Jane had to leave Tom because he had to support his family. But I was still upset:P. Although I suppose everything worked out in the end because they became friends. And if she didn't leave Tom she might not have written all the rest of her novels. But I suppose that's just an assumption :). Well that is what I thought of the movie. But I'm sure everyone has their own opinion.

Hurray for Horton!

Yesterday I went and saw Horton Hears a Who, I personally thought it was very funny, it is definitely a children's movie, but it was entertaining for me:) I wouldn't recommend it for those who are simply "to cool" to go, because they would probably find the humor stupid, for instance one who says that the other called him a "boooob", I found that quite funny, but others may not. Yes it was a bit weird at some parts but over all, I found the movie to be very good.

Drillbit Taylor, A 21st birthday, And a VERY long wait...

For Lindsay's (my sister) birthday, we went out to dinner and a movie. Well we were gonna go to BJ's, so we asked how long the wait was, and the reply was: Three and a half to four hours.
THREE AND A HALF TO FOUR HOURS?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I don't know about you but I have NEVER heard of wait that long. We could've seen TWO movies in that time!!!!! Well since that wait was so long, we went to California Pizza Kitchen instead, (and the wait was much shorter, by about 3 and a half hours^_^)

After we went to see Drillbit Taylor, which was a very funny movie, but since it was rated pg 13 I would not recommend it for younger children, mostly because of the bad words used, but there wasn't a large amount of swearing at all. Well that was about all of the excitement today ^_^ Bye! (to who ever reads this).

A new shower door!!

I thought we were getting a shower curtain, but I guess my mom changed her mind. Well here it is!!

Well this actually surprised me to, my mom told me to clean my room so I thought I'd start with the closet, well I did and this is what I got out of my tiny closet: (at least now it's clean^_^) Oh yea, and yes I am showing my whole closet in the picture of it, I'm just cutting off a bit of the door way.

OMG!!!!!!!

Ok so some people are at our house trying to help my mom out with cleaning and stuff, and all of the sudden I hear this CRASH!!!! I look in the bathroom to see what happened and: my aunt opened the shower door and it shattered!! And when I say it shattered it really SHATTERED!!!!!! luckily my aunt was ok... but the shower door sure isn't!! here are some pics of the damage:

a trip to the mall

I just got back from the mall:) I went with my mom and dad, we ate at the food court, and then drum roll please....... we went inside a store!!!AHHH-MAZING!!lol. Well actually the store we went to was limited too, which is my favorite store!! I got some really cute clothes. And after we went there we went to my other favorite store sees candies!!yummmm! My favorite candy from there is the butterscotch squares:) mmm there soo good! And if you haven't already tried it, next time you go to sees you have to get one!!!!

you know your tired when....

You know your tired when: Your mom asks you to go upstairs and get the sheets out of the dryer and bring them downstairs, and you start heading down the stairs with the sheets and the next thing you know, eachleg is on a different side of the doggy gate your facing side ways your arms are on the railing with the sheets in them and your head laying on them and your being woken up by your mom saying "what are you doing?"

Hi!!

Well I'm making this blog instead of doing my homework right now, lol. I hate homework!! Plus what I have to do is really lame, I have to write 3 paragraphs on Madame Blueberry the Veggie Tales movie!!!! How wierd is that?!?lol. I'm not really sure exactly what this little typing area is for.... I just started this blog thing... so... who knows!! Well thats all for now!!! I think..... ^_^
