Well, in case you haven't noticed, it's been about a year and a half since I last posted. What with facebook and high school, blogging just seemed to fly out of my mind. But I'm back now :). Moving on:
While I was at the movie theater seeing Letters To Juliet with my mom, a preview for the movie Charlie St. Cloud was shown. And I must say, it looks like one of the most depressing movies ever. If you haven't heard of it, here's the trailer:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KyplZ7b7UfY
It's based off of a book by Ben Sherwood.
I have recently discovered JJ Heller, she's a very talented Christian singer and all of her songs are amazing :). So if you haven't heard her songs, you should definitely look her up.
The past couple of Tuesdays I've watched the TV show Glee. I wasn't sure of it at first, but after watching some of the earlier episodes online I really like it :). It's not just a bunch of high schoolers randomly bursting into song like I'd thought it'd be, it actually has a really interesting plot, and it's really fun to watch :). In my opinion, it's worth seeing.
Well I'm off to rent Interview With a Vampire and watch it with my mum. Hopefully I'll post before next year ;).

Early Christmas
Sorry I'm posting so much, lol. Anyhoo...
Yesterday evening my dad's side of the family came over for an early Christmas. I have 6 cousins on my dad's side and I believe 5 of them were there. Here are the families:
My grandma Marion was there, she has Alzheimer's, so she doesn't really know who any of us are.
And her husband (my dad's dad) passed away when my dad was 17.
My dad has 3 brothers: David, Paul and Alan. My dad is the second oldest.
David's family: His wife's name is Jackie, and they had 2 kids Josh and Brenda. There both in there 20's I think... Josh was the only family member missing from this event =(. But everyone one else was there, including Brenda and her new wife Megan. Yes Brenda is a girl, and yes I said HER WIFE. We try not to judge.*ahem* Moving on....
Paul's family: His wife's name is Robin, and they also have 2 kids; Mathew and Sydney. Matt is like 16 and Sydney is 12.
Alan's family: His wife's name is Julie, and, yes you guessed it, they have 2 kids! Abby and Alex. Abby is 10 and Alex is 6.
So basically, my dad broke the pattern by having 4 girls, instead of a boy and a girl, lol.
So there are 20 members of my dad's family (including us. Us being my sisters and my mom, lol), and 19 were there.
Story time: My dog Tumai (the black labrador) has a bark collar, because we got a complaint for all of his loud barking. So my sister Jessica (the more adventurous one) wanted to see how much it hurt. So, she stuck it to her neck and barked like a dog, (she's not the sharpest tool in the shed, lol just kidding). And, well, it shocked her, and she screamed and threw it across the room. Lol, everybody was laughing hysterically. So then my uncle Alan (the youngest of my dad's siblings) wanted to try. And... the rest is in the video, lol

Odd couples
Well you know what they say: opposites attract =). Here are some cute pictures I found of some odd animal couples =).
And has anyone decided if they want to be one of the authors of the "Just Another Opinion" blog?

It will be where you can post your reviews on: Food, Books, Movies, etc. I've just been doing movies but I think it would be cool if other people put there reviews on those other things to =). So just comment this post and tell me if you want to be a part of it and I'll add you as soon as I can!
Toodles!

Just another opinion blog
I think I'm going to delete this blog, because it takes too much work to put a review on all of the movies I've seen, just this week I saw like 5 movies I've never seen before. I'm too lazy to keep posting about movies I've seen and if they're good or bad, so I think I'm going to remove it, OR open it so other people can put their reviews. Except I don't know how to make it so more people can write on one blog......

Sinus infection
Well my mom took me to the doctors and it turn out I have a sinus infection! Woohoo. So now I'm all hyped up on medication! I'm squirting Nasonex up my nose, drinking Robitussin (but trying not as often as I can, that stuff is awful) and swallowing some sort of blue and purple pill that I have no idea what it is, but it's doctor prescribed so it must work! lol. I don't feel any better yet, but hopefully it will start working soon. Mean while I've been learning how to play this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5mULa8WxTa4 on the piano, I can sing it to, but just not while I'm sick, it's a little hard to sing when your voice sounds like a frog choking. lol. So has anyone else done any of there Christmas shopping? 'Cause I haven't! Lol. I haven't even started looking for my family's presents yet. Well I guess that's it. Oh wait! I'm doing post quotes again! Ok let me get my book.........
Here are some quotes on difficult days:
This, too, shall pass. -William Shakespeare
Some days you want to tame the tiger. And
some days the tiger has you for lunch. -Tug McGraw
Pain is never permanent. -Saint Teresa of Avila
He that can't endure the bad will not
live to see the good. - Yiddish proverb
I put 4 to make up for all of the posts I missed =)
